Fellowship...

"... if we walk in the light, as He is in the
light, we have fellowship one with
another..."
I John 1:7

Our Mission

We are devoted follower's of Jesus Christ. We strictly follow the
examples left for us in the bible of what the new testement church
should be and how we as Christians should live our daily lives. We
hope that you will visit with us and we think you will find us to be
as Jesus instructed in John 4:24 "true worshipers in spirit and in
truth".

Our goal for this website is to provide tools to help you grow
closer to God through a study of His Word. We also want to
introduce you to our congregation in hopes that you may come
and worship with us.

This Week's Sermon

For I Cannot Find the Way Alone...
This Sunday morning's sermon was based off of this song.

I Cannot Find the Way Alone
As I journey through this vale of sorrow
the way seems so strange and unknown
Lord I need a helping hand to borrow
for I cannot find the way alone.

I cannot find the way without Thee dear Lord
Look down from Thy throne
and make Thy light to shine about me
for I cannot find the way alone

When the raging storms of life confound me
dear Lord will thy keep me Thine own
let me feel Thy precious arms around me
for I cannot find the way alone.

I cannot find the way without Thee dear Lord
Look down from Thy throne
and make Thy light to shine about me
for I cannot find the way alone

Verse of the Day

Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
                                       -Deuteronomy 4:9

What Must I do to be Saved?

Hear the Gospel- Romans 10:17
Believe the Gospel- Mark 16:15-16
Repent of Sins- Acts 17:30
Confess Christ- Romans 10:9-10
Be Baptized for the Remission of Sins- Acts 2:38
Be Faithful unto Death- Revelation 2:10

This question was asked after the first sermon and is still an important question today.

Read Acts 1 & 2 to learn about this event.

After Jesus's death, burial and resurection, our Lord promised the apostles that the Holy Spirit would come upon them so that they
would be able to spread the Gospel to all the world.(Acts 1:1-13) The Holy Spirit did come to those in the "upper room" on the day of
Pentecost. This was an important Jewish holy day and there were many Jews in Jerusalem from many nations. (Acts 2:1-5) Those
receiving the Holy Spirit began to speak in the languages of the people gathered around. This was amazing to those witnessing this event.
Many wondered how these men of Galilee were able to speak in so many different languages (Acts 2:6- 13). Peter rose up and spoke to
the crowd gathered there. He then began to preach the first sermon to convince people that Jesus was both Lord and Christ. (Acts
2:14-36). The people responded by asking a very important question, "Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and
said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Peter's answer was simply, "Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is
unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." (Acts 2:38-39) The bible tells us
in Acts 2:41 that 3000 people were baptized on that day.

**Note: If you read Acts 1-2 you'll notice that in
Acts 1:13-26 we learn what happened to Judas and how his replacement was chosen.
